August 27, 2018 at 3:20 PM

Ahead of the Chamber's upcoming candidate forum on Wednesday, August 29, we invited all five candidates in Sept. 4's Iowa City City Council primary election to answer six questions about pressing issues facing our community. We will post candidate responses as we receive them!

Ryan Hall

Ann Freerks

Christine Ralston

Bruce Teague

Brianna Wills

Join us and all five candidates at MERGE in downtown Iowa City from 7:30-8:30 am to hear more about each candidates' views on issues relevant to the business community. Coffee will be served!

A Special Election will be held on October 2 to select a replacement for Kingsley Botchway, who resigned on July 17. Because more than two people have filed for that election, a primary election is scheduled for September 4. A list of candidates and voting deadlines can be found on the Johnson County Auditor’s Office website.
