Applications Now Open for Ag Youth Scholarship

Each year, the Agribusiness/Bioscience Committee offers the Outstanding Agriculture Youth Scholarship in the amount of $2,500 to two graduating high school seniors in Johnson County.
2018 high school graduates who live in Johnson County are eligible for one of two $2,500 scholarships, to be sent to the recipient’s college upon successful completion of their first academic semester. The scholarship will be officially announced in the Chamber’s Envision newsletter printed monthly in the Corridor Business Journal. Scholarship recipients will be notified ahead of print.
CRITERIA: The applicant has demonstrated exceptional achievement in agriculture, academics and community involvement.

To submit your application, complete and save this document as YOUR_LAST_NAME_Ag_Scholarship.doc, .docx, or .pdf and email to Brandi Janssen at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “Ag Scholarship” no later than 5pm, April 13, 2018. All applicants will then participate in a brief interview (less than 30 minutes) with members of the Committee.
