IC chamber to host healthcare reform seminar

The Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting "How Health Care Changes Affect You and Your Employees" Aug. 5. The seminar takes place from 7:30-9 a.m. at Hills Bank and Trust Co., 1009 Second St. in Coralville. Scott Fisher of McCrossen Consulting and Angela Villhauer of Mercer will share implications of the recent federal health care legislation.

Discussion topics include the financial impact on employer groups, key employer compliance requirements, avoiding pitfalls and penalties, strategies to contribute to your organization's response and grandfathering. Participants will receive presentation materials.

The seminar is $15 for chamber members and $25 for non-members.
