Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity
Plans are underway for the Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity’s third Women Build project in Iowa City. The Dottie Ray Women Build unites and empowers women, challenging them to learn new skills as they discover the importance of safe, decent affordable housing. There are several opportunities to become involved:
* Help reach a $10,000 match grant goal from the estate of Veryl E. Detwiler and double your gift.
* Invest a minimum of $500 for ten years at 2.5% interest. The investment fund goal of $40,000 is administered by the Housing Trust Fund of Johnson County.
* Volunteer - no experience necessary, training provided.
