Passenger rail: Your input needed

The Iowa Department of Transportation and Federal Railroad Administration are hosting an online open house to solicit input on passenger rail service from Chicago, through Iowa, to Omaha.

The Chamber encourages you to take part in the open house to demonstrate support for Iowa City to Chicago passenger rail. Click here to access the online open house.

Host of the Month: Faithful Companions Pet Remembrance Service

Faithful Companions Pet Remembrance Service provides cremation and burial options for your pet companion. Michael Lensing and Vicki Lensing opened Faithful Companions because they foresaw the need for a professionally trained staff and facility that specialized in the respectful and dignified final disposition of your pet. Alex Lensing and Tara Mott are available 24 hours a day to care for the needs of anyone who has experienced a loss. Your pet is a family member. At Faithful Companions your pet is treated in the same manner that we would treat a human, with respect and compassion. Our staff will transfer your pet to our facility in Coralville, or you may wish to bring your pet in yourself.
